Scones are a great and easy baked good that can be eaten at any time of the day, whether it’s morning or afternoon. They are also very versatile, as there is a myriad of mix-ins you can add to enhance flavor. It’s important to used cold, cubed butter when making scones, because this will ensure it will come out flaky. The chocolate chips can be swapped for a dried fruit, or you can omit the sugar, and make a savory scone.
