“Did you hear what happened? There was a Benefit Concert in New York where Nicki Minaj was performing. In the middle of her set, Minaj suddenly stopped singing and began to exclaim: “Every Barack needs a Michelle, every Bill needs a Hillary. You don’t want to be stuck with a Melania.” It was quite exciting.”

It’s interesting to witness the contentious subject of the United States’ presidential election, and the notoriety it has gained in countries outside of the U.S. Although the subject of politics is arguably disassociated with contemporary life (especially that of many high school students), this post of The Humans of RSGC highlights how world events pervade our lives in increasingly unsuspecting ways.
