This past Sunday, January 28th, 2018, was the 60th annual Grammys Awards, hosted by James Corden in New York City. Among many talented artists, singer and song-writer Bruno Mars was awarded Song of the Year for “That’s What I Like.”

The 32-year-old, with 3 previous nominations for this trophy, stated in his acceptance speech: “I’ve known these guys for over a decade. All those horror stories you’ve heard about the music business, we’ve been through all of it. That’s the first time on this album we came collectively as a group and put this song together and album together, so fellas it’s an honor to share this with ya’ll tonight. These are my brothers.” Mars then introduced co-writers Christopher Brody Brown, James Fauntleroy, Philip Lawrence, Ray Charles McCullough II, Jeremy Reeves, and Ray Romulus & Jonathan Yip.

Other nominations for Song of the Year include: Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito,”  Logic, Alessia Cara, and Khalid’s “1-800-273-8255,” Jay-Z’s “4:44,” and Julia Michaels’ “Issues.”
